Visit to Parliament SCHOOL RUGBY TEAMS The boyi taking part in the primary schools Rugby tournament, in which the Taranaki, Horowhenua, Rangitikei, and Hutt Valley school districts are competing, had a busy and highly-interest-ing time yesterday. The party, which comprised 140 boys and ten masters, was entertained at the Zoo and picture houses in the morning, and in the afternoon Mr. W. Nash, M.P. for the Hutt electorate, arranged for them to visit Parliament House. . - The boys, who came from nine electoral districts, were welcomed by the Hon. R. Masters, M.L.C., and then handed over to the Hon. G. M. Thomson, M.L.C., who conducted them over the building. After the tour of inspection, the youthful visitors were entertained at tea in the social room of Parliament House. Brief speeches were made by Mr. Walter Nash, who acted as master of ceremonies, the Hon. J. G. Cobbe (Minister of Defence) and Messrs. J. T. Hogan (Rangatikei). J. Linklater (Manawatu). and O. A. Wilkinson (Egmont). Mr. W. J. Melody, president of the Hutt Valley Primary Schools Rugby Union, voiced the gratitude of the boys for the interesting time they had been finale of the tournament will be played to-day, and the boys will return to tfreir homes on Thursday.
