To continue discharge of her cargo of Jarrah from Bunbury, the Millars’ Hardwood Company’s chartered steamer Raisdale arrived at Wellington early yesterday morning and berthed at the Taranaki Street Wharf. She is expected to leave again on Frldav for Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete discharge. G. H. Scales, Ltd., is the local agent.

The Vacuum Oil Company’s tanker Plume Is due at San Francisco about September 17 to load- bulk motor-spirit for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. THE TUTANEKAI. The Government lighthouse . steamer Tutanekai left Wellington yesterday morning on a visit of inspection to the Cook Strait lights. She is expected to be away about ten days. CEMENT FROM PORTLAND. * The Union Company advise that the Karepo was to have left Portland last night with cement for discharge at Wellington and Lyttelton. She is due here on Friday morning. ULIMAROA AT SYDNEY. The Huddart Parker company has received cabled news that the Ulimaroa arrived at Sydney at 5.30 a.m. yesterday from Auckland. She is to leave again on Friday for Wellington, and is due here next Tuesday morning. THE NIAGARA. The Union Company advise that the R.M.S. Niagara, en route from Vancouver, is due at Honolulu’this morning. She is to leave again later to-day for Suva, Auckland, and Sydney, and is due at Auckland on September 8. PIPIRIKI LEAVES NEW YORK. The A. and A. Line has received cabled news that the Pipiriki cleared .New York on August 19 with cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Sydney; She is due at Auckland on September 25. lONIC AT AUCKLAND. Ths Shaw, Savill liner lonic, from London and Southampton, via the Panama Canal, reached Auckland at 11 a.m. yesterday. She is expected to leave again on Saturday for Wellington to complete discharge of her London cargo, and is due here next Monday morning. ARMADALE REPORTS. The A. and A. Line has received a wireless message from their chartered motor ship Armadale, en route from New York via' Suva, reporting that she expects to reach Auckland at noon to-morrow. KENT AT LONDON. Cabled news has been received by the Federal Company that the Kent reached London on Sunday. She left Wellington on Julv 18 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal. BRUNSWICK COMING. The Atlantic Union Oil Company s electric tanker Brunswick was to have left San Pedro yesterday with a full cargo of bulk motor-spirit for discharge at Auek land, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. She is due at Auckland on September -U. THE TOTARA. When the Totara was nearing Wellington yesterday morning, en route from Lyttelton, her engines broke dow n. The Union Company dispatched the tug Natone to her assistance and the Totara was berthed at the Queen’s Wharf at 2.30 p.m. The trouble is not serious, and the Totara is to leave again to-day for New Plymouth. NARBADA REPORTS. ; The Union Company yesterday received a wireless nfessage from the Narbada, en route from Calcutta, via Penang, Singapore, and Samarang, reporting that she expected to reach Auckland on Monday morning. She will later proceed to Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff to complete discharge. From Bluff the vessel will proceed to Newcastle to load for Singapore during the first half of October. After discharging at Singapore she will proceed to Calcutta, where she will tako the November-December loading for New Zealand.
