TRAMWAY AWARD

The Conciliation Council proceedings between the Christchurch Tramways Board and the Tramway Employees’ Union ended to-day in an agreementBoth sides made concessions and agreed to embody the agreement in a new award with a currency of five months. The agreement is an almost complete endorsement of the present award with one concession to the union in respect of meal hour relief. ■
