STOLEN MOTOR-CAR
Men Shot by Police in Sydney
Sydney, August 25.
Two more men were arrested and are in hospital wounded as the result of the police firing on a car in Newtown.
The motor was stolen earlier in the evening.
[A policeman at Newtown, Sydney, boarded the running-board of a motorcar in which were a party of young men, and ordered the driver to stop. He was pitched off, whereupon he fired six shots at the fugitives.]
