British Left Wing TRUCE ARRANGED Effort to Adjust Relations By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. July 27, 5.5 p.m.) London, July 26. The growing revolt of the Labour Left-wingers culminated in a meeting of the executive of the Labour Party and the Council of the Independent Labour Party, at which It Is understood a truce was arranged pending a conference between Mr. A. Henderson, Foreign Secretary, and Mr. J. Maxton with a view to an adjustment of relations. Mr. Henderson is suffering from overstrain, and Immediately departed for Hertfordshire, where he will spend a few weeks in a nursing home before going to Geneva.
