Prosecutions in Future London, July 16. Owing to numerous cases of stowaways on vessels from Western Australia recently, the shipping companies have decided to prosecute rigorously. The latest case concerns two men who were discovered on the Largs Bay after she left Coloipbo. They are said to have arrived at Fremantle from England on December 26. Unable to find work they stowed away on June 12. A magistrate at Hull fined the men £5 each or 28 days’ imprisonment.
