Work of Year Reviewed The Polynesian Society held its annual meeting last' evening, Archdeacon Williams presiding. .... The report stated that it had been possible to maintain the journal in its enlarged form, suitable papers having been received in sufficient numbers for this purpose. The membership of the society, which had increased by 21 during, the year, now stood at 388, of which 21 were honorary, 351 subscribing, and 16i life members. During the year the publication of Jennes and Ballantyne s monograph on Bwaidoga, as a memoir, was finished, and one by Mr. D. G. Kennedy, on Vaitupu, Ellice Islands, had been begun, and would be likewise published during the ensuing year as a memoir.
