PALMERSTON WINTER SHOW
Attractive Football Programme The Winter Show at Palmerston North will open on Tuesday, the official opening ceremony taking place at noon the following day when his Excellency Lord Bledisloe will be in attendance. For this year’s event a very attractive football programme has been arranged, the chief matches beinff Te Aute v. Palmerston North Boys’ High School, on Wednesday at 230 p.m., when the Moascar Cup will be at stake, and Saturday at 2 p.m. Sacred Heart College from Auckland will try conclusions with St. Patrick's College of Wellington. The latter match will attract the attention of the whole of the Dominion. On Thursday the sub-unions of Te Kawau and Oroua will meet. Soccer enthusiasts will be catered for with a cur-tain-raiser on Weduesday. when Block House and Athletic will take the field. On Thursday the curtain-raiser will be between a team from the Fellding Agricultural College and the Palmerston North Bovs' High School second fifteen. There will be no curtain-raiser on Saturday.
