DANCE AT KELBURN

Plunket Society Effort The dances organised by the Kelburn committee of the Plunket Society are always looked forward to with pleasure, and that last night was no exception. The dance was held in the Kelburn Kiosk, which was crowded with dancers, and as the music supplied was excellent, those present had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The large committee was responsible for the excellent supper. Bright fires burned in the hall, and there was ample room in the balconies for sitting out and for bridge if ayone desired to play. Mrs. Widdop, the president, Mrs. Evans, secretary, and members of the committed looked well after the comfort of the guests. Mrs Widdop wore black velvet with diamante buckle; Mrs. Evans was in gold lace over blue georgette; Mrs. Mirams wore black with coloured motifs; Mrs. F. McLean, black with silver beading, and there were present Mrs. Keith Klrkcaldie, in brown georgette and gold/lace; Mrs. Mawson, in rose coloured georgette; Mrs. Morgan, in deep pink; Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Halligan, blue lace; Mrs. Alderson, cream; Mrs. A.
