A VISIT FROM JACK FROST

When I woke up one morning My mummy said to me , She’d got some lovely pictures Quite near for me to see.

She took me to the window, And all the glass was bright, With lovely lacy patterns, All made of shining white:

And now when I see patterns Upon the window pane, My mummy says, “Good gracious! Jack Frost’s been here again!" ' —Sent by Victor Maddick, Whakatane (aged 10 years).
