A disturbance was caused at the morning service in the Anglican Cathedral in Christchurch on Sunday morning by a man who is believed to have been deranged. During the sermon (says the “Christchurch Times”) he broke in and commenced to shout unintelligbly. The preacher, Dean Julius, continued with his discourse, however, and the man was removed, and his name taken by the police. "Before entering the cathedral he caused some slight damage outside, attempting to pull down the wire-net-ting fence surrounding the newly-sown lawn, and trampling over the earth inside the enclosure. ,
