OBITUARY
MR. J. A. SELLORS The death occurred aALevin this week of Mr. James Alexander Sellers. The late Mr. Sellors 'was bom in London 73 years ago, and was educated at London University, from which he immediatelv passed into the financial life of the city, being in the brokerage business until he left for New Zealand. He always took his holidays abroad, and toured the Continent extensively. Not only did his observations relate to foreign parts, but they showed a keen appreciation of the philosophy of history. During the war he rendered service as a special constable, besjdes superintending certain business for the Home Government in regard to food supplies. A little over six years ago he came to the Dominion with the intention of retiring, but the death of his son, Mr. Colin Sellors, in 1925, caused him to take over the garage business which the latter had' conducted in Levin. Mr. Sellors leaves a widow, three daughters—Mrs. Gavey (Wellington), Mrs. Knowles (Hawke’s Bay), and Mrs. Johansen (Tonga)—and nine grandchildren.
