A fine of £lO and costs and suspension of'his driver’s license until September 1, 1930, was the penalty imposed on Douglas McGuire to-day on a charge of negligent driving. McGuire, who is a taxi-driver, pleaded guilty. He knocked down a veranda in Colombo Street early one morning recently.
