A motor vehicle conveying about twenty children to Karaka School yesterday morning overturned on the Drury-Paerata road about half a mile from the school The. driver of the lorry, J. J. Fox, was proceeding slowly and when he was endeavouring to avoid a collision with a boy riding a bicycle the vehicle left the road and overturned. None of the occupants was seriously injured, but one boy named Dethune received cuts on the forehead. He was conveyed to Papakura by the schoolmaster (Mn Woods) for medical attention, and two stitches were inserted in the boy’s head. The lorry was damaged.
