Experiment Causes Shower

The Hague, June 11. An experiment in rainmaking by means of ice was carried out over the Zuider Zee. The scientist, Professor Veraart, had at his disposal a squadron of Air Force aeroplanes, which went above the clouds and dropped on them crushed ice. Messages recorded, that a shower of rain fell instantly.
