REGIONAL AREAS
Number in North Island Consideration was given to the report of the Regional Boundaries Committee, which has been conducting inquiries in the North Island, at a meeting of the Town Planning Board yesterday. The report of the committee was adopted, and it was decided to forward maps showing the pnovislbnal boundaries recommended to each local authority for-its further consideration before final recommendations were made. The committee’s proposals in connection with the North Island contemplate the division of the island into fourteen regional areas. In connection with the provisional boundaries recommended' by the board to the authorities in the South Island, the Director of Town Planning (Mr. J. W.
