A fitter employed at the Horahora power station, Mr. Peter Johnstone, aged about 37, fell 20ft. on to a concrete floor at the station on Sunday evening and injured both ankles. Mr. Johnstone was overhauling one of the turbines, and when climbing out of the pit slipped from the top of the ladder and fell to the floor. He landed on his feet and injured both ankles, breaking a bone in one foot. After receiving treatment Mr. Johnstone was removed to the Waikato Hospital.
