A PLENTEOUS SEASON
RAROTONGAN ORANGES. It is a long time since the public of Wellington was able to buy Island oranges at the prices they were being sold at today. Big fruit are being retailed at eight for a shilling, smaller ones at one shilling a dozen. The price is the reflection of a plenteous season at Rarotonga. Lust year the orange crop was below the average, but this season it is well above it, so that shipments have been heavy, and at present the market is well supplied.
