TEN YEARS BEHIND?
AVIATION IN NEW ZEALAND Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, June 10. “It is rather terrible that, as far as air transport is concerned, Palmerston North should be five years behind the times. It is said abroad that New Zealand is ten years behind the times as far as aviation is concerned,” said Mr. M. H. Oram at to-day’s meeting of the Palmerston North Chamber of Commerce in announcing that a public meeting was being culled for tomorrow night to consider the matter of advancing the cause of aviation in the town.
