DEATH OF VALIER
INVENTOR OF ROCKET CAR EXPLOSION DURING TEST (Rec. May 1.8, 8.30 p.m.) Berlin, May 18. Herr Valier, the pioneer of the rocket-driven aeroplane and motor-ear, who was 35 years of age. was testing a new model rocket car when the rocket suddenly exploded. Valier bled to death before a doctor's arrival.
The police are Investigating the cause of the explosion.
