TONGOIO TRAGEDY

A NOBLE EXAMPLE By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, May 15. An inquest concerning the tragedy at Tongoio on April 19, in which Mr. Trask, his two sons, and a young man, who went to their rescue, were drowned, concluded to-day. A formal verdict of accidental death was returned in all cases. The coroner congratulated those who took part in the rescue effort. He condoled with the remaining members of the Trask family, and congratulated the father of Jones on the noble example set by his dead son.
