WAIRARAPA TO EXHIBIT. Dominion Special Service. Masterton. May 15. A conference of various district bodies convened by the Wairarapa ■ Progress League was held yesterday afternoon to consider a proposal to make a Wairarapa exhibit at the forthcoming Wellin"ton Winter Show, Mr. IV. D. Tree presiding. The Wellington Winter Show Association. said Mr. Free, had offered free space and timber, and a subsidy of £2O for the purpose of a Wairarapa exhibit at their show next month. In moving that the conference express approval of the proposal, he added that it was his opinion that it was an excellent opportunity that was offered to the district. The motion, which was seconded by Mr. L. T. Wilton, was carried, and on the suggestion of the secretary of the Progress League, Mr. J. N. McLean, a central committee was formed. Those appointed were: Messrs. R. J. Barton. R. H. Williams, G. H. Perry, J. M. James. E. L. Rayner, J. Watson, and E. W. Payton. Mr. J. N. McLean was appointed committee secretary.
