The annual sale of work in' connection with St. David's Presbyterian Church, Upper Hutt, was held the other day. The Rev. J. R. Blanchard, 8.A., Moderator of the Wellington Presbytery, was present and declared the sale officially open. The stalls were well stocked with a choice array of articles and excellent business was done both In the afternoon and evening. Great credit was given to the ladies’ guilds for the organisation necessary to ensure success. The financial results proved highly satisfactory.
