The quadrennial convention of SeventhHay Adventists will take place in San Francisco on May 24. The session will be attended by representatives of 135 countries. The sect has now 222 mission fields employing 18.866 evangelists and institutional workers, and according to the latest report the membership of the body is 285.293. The tithing system is in force in this church, and during 1928 about £2,400.000 was received in tithes and offerings for evangelistic work in all departments.
