LOCAL TIMBER
IS SUPPLY ADEQUATE? By Telegraph—v,ess Association Rotorua, March 31. A statement published in the Auckland "Sun,” stating that work was being delayed at the Rotorua Bathhouse owing to the failure of the local sawmillers to supply the timber, was given an emphatic denial. It was stated that at no time had any delay occurred. Ample supplies were to hand, and no men had been compelled io wait owing to the lack of timber,
Every man it had been possible to employ has been given work. The. sawmillers state that the timber on order has been stacked on the skids at the mill awaiting room for delivery on the construction site.
