YESTERDAY’S WEATHER
FINE SPELL HOLDING The unbroken spell of tine weather which Wellington has experienced during the past month still continues. Yesterday was sunny and warm, with a moderate northerly wind. The fine weather spell which has been experienced for over a month at Auckland continued to-day, the wind being light from the south-east. The barometer was steady at 30.30 in. last evening. The weather at Christchurch was fine, with a moderate east-north-east wind in the afternoon. There were four degrees of frost during the night. The maximum temperature was 60 degrees. The barometer was high, with little movement.
A perfect autumn day was experienced in Dunedin, when about seven hours of unbroken sunshine was recorded. The wind was very light from the north-east. The maximum temperature was 66 degrees. The barometer 'was high and fairly steady, showing 30.20 in. in the evening.
