TO-DAY’S WEATHER FORECAST
Meteorological Office. Wellington, Monday, March 31, 1930, 4 p.m. The anti-cyclone responsible for the fine weather of the past few days is moving gradually eastwards. A rather deep depression Is advancing 'on to the Southern Tasman Sea. There are indications of a tropical cyclone between Vavau and Samoa. Winds northerly, moderate at first, but freshening soon from Cook Strait southwards. Seas still smooth to moderate generally, but rising south of Cape Egmont. Freshening northerly winds and rising seas In the Eastern Tasman Sea.

Weather still fair to fine in most districts; some showers, however, in North Auckland, and later conditions becoming unsettled in Westland and Foveaux Strait, with showers developing. Warm temperatures, especially in eastern districts.
