REFEREES’ ASSOCIATION. Palmerston North, March 31. The annual general meeting of the Maiiawatu Hockey Referees’ Association was held this evening. Mr. R. L. C. Aitcheson presided The annual report showed that last year’s activities had been very gratifying. find the association was now in a sound financial position. The question of the appointment of referces for fixtures was discussed, and it was decided to notify the men’s and ladies’ clubs that the Referees’ Association would appoint referees for all club and representative matches. , , The following officers were elected President, Mr. R.
