LAW DRAFTING OFFICE
AIR. H. D. C. ADAMS APPOINTED. Air. H. D. C. Adams, LL.B., of the Public Trust Ollier, has been appointed assistant law draftsman in the Law Drafting Office, in succession to Mr. T. D. H. Hall, LL.B., now Clerk of the House of Representatives. Air. Adams, who is-a son of Dr. U. E. Adams, Government Astronomer and Seismologist, was born in Napier, and educated in AVclJingtou at the Roseneath School, Wellington College, and Victoria University College. He won junior and senior Education Board Scholarships, and in his fourth year at AVellington College was dux of the school, and won a University National Scholarship. He graduated LL.B, in 1918, and was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in the same year. He was employed for some tiino by Messrs. Luke and Kennedy, solicitors, Wellington, and was subsequently for four years on the stuff of Alessrs. Chapman, Skerrett, Tripp and Blair, whose office he left in 1922 to enter into partnership with Air. AV. Tutlhope, of Hamilton. After practising in Hamilton for over six years he returned to Wellington a few months ago. and has since then been in the legal division of the Public Trust Office,
