PROFESSIONALS’ TOURNEY The secretary of the New Zealand Golf Association reports that the entries for the professionals’ autumn tournament at Russley links, Christchurch, on March I, 3 and 4, are the best, numerically, that have been received for some years past. Watt. , KIRKWOOD AND HAGEN TOUR OFF The following telegram was received yesterday by the New Zealand Golf Association from J. H. Kirkwood :—“Quarantined. Regret obliged to cancel New Zealand tour. Will arrange later date if possible.” Walter Hagen and J. H. Kirkwood are passengers on board the Aorangi, which is at present in Auckland with an outbreak of smallpox and is to proceed to Sydney under quarantine. Hagen and Kirkwood will continue with the ship.
