TRANSPACIFIC CARGO SERVICE. The Waikawa left Los Angeles on January 9 for Hobart, Beauty Point, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney, and returns to Vancouver direct. The Waitemata left Los Angeles on January 21, Is due at Auckland on February 14, thence to Wellington, Bluff, Melbourne and Sydney, and returns to Vancouver via Fiji. The Waihemo left Ocean Falls on January 30 for San Francisco and Los Angeles to complete loading for Napier,, where she is due on March 5, thence to Lyttelton, Dunedin, Nelson and New Plymouth. The Hauraki leaves San Francisco to-day for Los Angeles to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney, and returns to Vancouver via Fanning Island. The Wairuna left Lautoka on January 31 for Vancouver, where she is due on February 22. The Waiotapu arrived at Suva nn January 31, and leaves again on February 5 for Vancouver direct. NORTH CAPE LIGHT. The Marine Department advise that the North Cape light, which was out of order, has Seen adjusted, and is now working well.
