FALL FROM DEVONPORT FERRY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, February 2. Sylvanus John Pengelly, leading stoker on H.M.S. Laburnum, fell overboard from the ferry boat Makora, near Devonport, at 8.30 on Friday night. A boat with a crew of four was sent out from the Philomel as soon as the accident was reported, but after cruising for two hours with a searchlight going no trace of the man could be found, and there is still no trace of him.
