SUPPORT BY PATEA By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hawera, January 31. At a representative meeting of the United Party organisation in the Patea electorate, held in Hawera last night, the following resolution was adopted :— “That the executive of the United Party organisation in the Patea electorate resent the uncalled for and unwarranted attack of Mr. Davy on the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and cordially endorses the action of the Dominion executive in deposing Mr. Davy as chairman of the executive. It further pledges unswerving support to Sir Joseph Ward as Leader of the party, and congratulates the Government on its efforts to assist the masses of the people by its progressive legislation.’
