YOUTH FROM AUCKLAND AT CASTLECLIFF. Dominion - Special Service Wangantli, January 26. A distressing fatality Occurred ftt Castlecliff about noon on Saturday, when Maxwell Keir Carrick, aged 18, lost his life. Deceased had only that day arrived from Auckland on holiday, and was staying with his aunt, Mrs. John Anderson, Kftraka Street, Castlecliff. He and his cousin. Miss Anderson, were bathing between the cliffs and the kiosk, when young Carrick got Into difficulties, and was swept away. The police yesterday and on Sunday morning searched for the body, but up to noon on Sunday it had not been recovered.
