DANNEVIRKE SHOW
Intending exhibitors and competitors at the Dannevirke A. and I’. show are reminded that Hie general entries close to-morrow. Indications are said to point to the gathering—the twenty-first held under the auspices of the association —repeating, and probably eclipsing, the successes of the past. Last year night entertainments on the ground were inaugurated, and this year these are to be extended. Special lighting is to be installed, and various novelty events and competitions are to bo staged eeach evening, in addition to side-shows customary on S ’siich occasions. Au outstanding feature of the show of interest to the fair sex are the home industries and needlework sections. These are all post entry, and those from a distance who cannot attend and desire to compete may forward their exhibits to the secretary, who will attend to the rest. In home preserves the G. .1. J. Buchanan Cup is awarded to the best "pound” cuke, and there is a carved tray as" a points prize in the section devoted Io preserves, sauces, etc. The needlework classes have been completely revised to meet modern requirements, and the section for children offers juveniles an opportunity to'lest their skill. Mr. 11. S. M. Quigley. the secretary, will supply any information desired.
