EXCURSION TO SOUNDS
Another chance this season of seeing the beauties of the BtaiTborougli Sounds under the exceptional conditions afforded by the Tamaliine’s excursions will be during the coming week-end. The Tamahine will leave Wellington at 1.15 p.m. on Saturday next, February 1, arriving about half-past four at Picton. There the evening will be devoted to dancing, and in the early morning the vessel will steam down Queen Charlotte Sound and round to Pelorus Sound, anchoring before breakfast-time in
beautiful Tennyson Inlet. Here the morning will be occupied In boating, fishing, swimming, discussing “billy” tea, launch cruising/ or in one er two short walks into the heart of grand bush or to a viewpoint overlooking Pelorus Sound and Croisillcs On the way back in the afternoon a flying visit will be made into Ship Cove, Captain Cook s rendezvous. The Tamahine will leave Picton about (’> p.m., arriving at Wellington about 9.30 p.m.
