At 4.41 o’clock yesterday morning the Fire Brigade received a call to a fourstoried concrete building. No. 14 College Street. Portion 4f the ground floor was occupied by Bevan Bros., cardboard box manufacturers, while the remaining portion of the floor, the first and second floors were tenanted by Messrs. Adams, Bruce. The upper part of the building was occupied by the MUderson Biscuit Co. The outbreak occurred bn the ground floor, the contents of which were damaged by fire. The remaining floors suffered slightly from smoke. The stock and fittings of Bevan Bros, were insured for £l3lO in the Northern Insurance Office. The plant, machinery and stock of Messrs. Adams. Bruce were covered by £lOll5O in the Royal Exchange Office. •
