MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING A meeting of the Management Com--mittee of the Wellington Cricket Association was held last evening, when there were present: Messrs. 15.I 5 . B. Broad (chairman), J. A. Hanna, R. A. Whyte, L. J. Brabin, R. F. Steele, A. W. Aldersley, A. Ronaldson, J. Reid and A. Varney (honorary secretary). With regard to the question of representative caps, it was decided that the report of the Senior Championship Committee should be deferred until the end of the season. . n » Permission was granted to the Hutt Club to play a match against Wairarapa to-morrow. . , , A letter was received from the secretary of the Seatoun Club complaining of what the club considered an unsatisfactory situation existing in connection with the points allocation in the third grade “A” competition. After • discussion, a practical suggestion was made by Mr. Reid, and it was left .for him to report on the matter at the next meeting. The chairman reported that Mr. A. C. Kitto, chairman of the Wellington Centre of the Amateur Athletic Association, had communicated with him last week informing him that it was the intention of the centre to apply for the vise ot the Basin Reserve on February 8 and March 1.- It was moved and-seconded at last night’s, meeting that permission be granted to the centre for February 8, but not for March 1.
