PORT LABOUR
BRITISH INQUIRY INTO PROBLEM (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, January 3. At the request of the Minister of Labour, a committee under the chairmanship of Sir Donald Maclean is engaged in inquiries in connection with the problem of port labour. These Inquiries have as their object the coordination and extension of a registration scheme and other measures for decasualising port labour. The coin mil tee has already issued two interim reports, and has also communicated willi ports, urging the adoption of cevfuin measures..
