TRIP TO AFRICA

NEW THRILL FOR PRINCE OF WALES FLIGHTS OVER JUNGLE London, January 2. A new thnjll awaits the Prince of Wales when he resumes his hunting trip in Africa, interrupted by the King’s illness. He will take aeroplane flights over the jungle to search for big game in Tanganyika, thus avoiding a waste of time motoring in the rainy season. The Prince insists that he shall be treated as an ordinary passenger aboard the ship, taking his meals in the saloon. While in South Africa, as the guest of the Earl of Athlone, the Prince proposes to visit the districts where native disaffection recently showed itself. While hunting, he will use a special six-wheeled Wolseley saloon shipped to Africa yesterday. He got a lioness last tour, and this time he hopes to get a rhinoceros. He expects to return to London at the end of April. DEPARTURE FROM LONDON (Rec. January 3, 10.45 p.m.) London, January 3. The Prince of Wales spent a quiet day farewelllng. 'He leaves Waterloo Station at 1.30 this afternoon for Southampton.
