TRIP TO AFRICA

While in South Africa, as the guest of the Earl of Athlone, the Prince proposes to visit the districts where native disaffection recently showed itself. While hunting, he will use a special six-wheeled Wolseley saloon shipped to Africa yesterday. He got a lioness last tour, and this time he hopes to get a rhinoceros. He expects to return to London at the end of April. DEPARTURE FROM LONDON (Rec. January 3, 10.45 p.m.) London, January 3. The Prince of Wales spent a quiet day farewelllng. 'He leaves Waterloo Station at 1.30 this afternoon for Southampton.
