REPARATIONS
THE HAGUE CONFERENCE DELEGATES ASSEMBLING MATTERS TO BE DEALT WITH (United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Rec. January 2, 9.15 p.m.). Hague, January 2. Delegates are assembling for the opening of the Reparations Conference on January 3. The duration of the conference is uncertain, but every effort will be made to finish before the Naval Conference in London. Mr. Snowden •and Mr. Graham are leaving London to-day. Mr. Henderson is not coming. There is general relief because Dr. Schacht (President of the Reichsbank) also will be an absentee. The object of the conference is to clear up matters not dealt with in August, and also to consider the character for the International Bank and the questions of deliveries in kind and non-German reparations. Vienna, for instance, is hoping the conference will cancel Austria’s reparations debts.
