AUSTRALIANS SUCCESSFUL AT WANGANUI By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui. January 1. Griffiths and Ryan, the Australian swimming champions, competed at Gonville to-night. Ryan was successful in establishing a new Wanganui record for half a mile, doing the distance easily in llitiin. 58 2-ssoe. Griffiths also created a new record of 2min. 35see. for 220 yards.
