Fire in New South Wales.— A Press Association message from Sydney states that Garner’s general store at Gloucester was destroyed by fire. The damage amounted to £12,000. The Gloucester Hotel opposite caught alight, but was saved. Mr. G. Sievers, of Levin, will judge the dairy cuttle classes at the Pahiatua I A. and P. Show. Mr. H. B. Johnston, of Feilding, will officiate in a similar capacity in the Romney Marsh section. Mr. C. E. Vile, of Bulls, will judge the Southdown and Lincoln classes, and Mr. C. W. Rutherford, of Masterton, will judge the fat sheep and lambs.
