NORTH ISLAND TOURNEY DRAW FOR CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS The North Island Lawn Tennis Championships Tournament will commence on the Wanganui Club's courts, Nelson Street, to-morrow. AA'anganui, December 28. * A r ery large entries have been received by the AA’anganui Tennis Association for the annual North Island championship and handicap tournament which opens on the AVanganui Club’s courts on AVednesday. Entries have been received from players in all parts of New Zealand. In the men’s championship singles there are over 70 entries, and all classes are correspondingly large. The competitors include Mcsdames W. J. Melody, R. Adams, Misses M. Myers, E. Ramsay, M. Whyte, D. Nicholls, Messrs. A. C. Stedman, C. Angas. T. Rhodes-Williams. A, K. Turner, N. R. C. AVilsdn. C. E. Malfroy, and M. L. Lampe.
