YOUNG MAN MISSING
INDICATIONS OF DROWNING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. ; Levin, December 27. A young man named Waldye St. George, aged 27, disappeared yesterday afternoon while bathing at Otaki Beach. . ... He was a member of a family picnic party. He intimated bis intention of going into the water, but was not noticed by the others in the party, and it was thought that he was seen bathing. In the evening he was reported missing. His clothes were found on the beach. A search was made, but no trace of the missing man was found. St. George was employed in Wellington. He was visiting his home for the holidays.
