MAURICE’S ACCIDENT
Little Maurice sat on a wall, Little Maurice had a great fall, Every physician Said his condition Was very bad, indeed. They put him to bed With a cloth round his head, And a very nice book to read. He gradually mended, /As the day ended, And soon was better again. He now sits on the wall Without having a fall, And sings with His might and his main. —By “Mountain Torrent.”
