HUTT VALLEY TOURNAMENT DRAW FOR SECTIONS. For the Hutt Valley New Year bowls tournament, commencing on New Year’s Day, 26 entries have been received, as follow:—Hutt Club, Petone, Central, each 5 rinks; Woburn, Thorndon, Victoria, Upper Hutt, each 2 rinks; Hataitai, Island Bay, Newtown, each 1 rink. The draw for sections resulted as follows : — „ Section A. —Carrick and Burgess (Hutt), Gough (Petone), Hendry (Hataitai), Ronan and Foster (Central), Goodwin (Thorndon), Jones (Woburn). Section B. —Shearer and Kennington (Hutt), Blake and Meihuish (Petone), Stone and Pawson (Central), Forrest (Upper Hutt), Levestam (Newtown), Duff (Island Bay), Hain (Victoria). Section C. —Stonehouse (Hutt), McArthur and Longman (Petone), Lambert (Thorndon), Fisher (Central), Powell (Upper Hutt), Bolton (Victoria), Roundhill (Woburn). Section A will commence play on Hutt green, Section B on Central green, and Section C on Petone green, starting at 9 a.m. on New Year’s Day. Post-section play will take place on the Petone green, commencing on Saturday, January 4, at 1 p.m.
