LEVEL CROSSING TRAGEDY
COLLISION OF, TRAIN AND MOTOR COACH SEVENTEEN PEOPLE ' KILLED (Rec. December 20, 7 p.m.) Madrid, December 19. A frightful level-crossing smash occurred near San Sadurni, Barcelona Province, when a train crashed into a motor-coach, with the result that seventeen were killed and ten injured. The driver of the train drowned himself, though he is considered to have been blameless. The only occupant of the coach who was unhurt disappeared. It is believed he was demented.
