SPECIAL BOXING DAY ATTRACTION,

The Wellington Centre of the b’.Z.A.A.A. has made a noteworthy effort to produce for supporters of athletics a programme of events on Boxing Day which it would be hard to equal. Every branch of the sport is catered for and an endeavour has been made to secure the best talent In New Zealand. In the cycling section Frank Grose, of Christchurch. Tom Oakley. of Masterton. M. Gane and C. Flett, of Wellington, will compete. Miss Hoyle, of Napier, has also signified her intention of being present. She recently equalled the world’s record for the ladies’ 50 yards dash. Highland dancing and a number of novelty events have been Introduced into the programme.
