WAIRARAPA HOSPITALS
Masterton. December 20. Mr. AV. Fisher presided at a meeting of the Wairarapa Hospital Board this morning, when there were also present Messrs. T. V. Moore, b. Bolton, A. Clark, P. Tulloch, D. Bennett. AV. I. Armstrong, J. D. Matthews, R. B. Robertson, IT. IL Daniell, D. Coleman. J. F. Thompson. R. Smith, and Mrs. W. 11. Jackso “- The return of patients for the Masterton Hospital, for the past two months, showed that at the end ot October there were 152 patients in hospital as compared to 94 at the end of the same month last year. The daily average was ba.b. compared to 83.8 last year. At the end of November there were lb 4 patients in hospital, compared to 187 at the end ot November last year. The daily average was 59.8, compared to 53.8 last year. At the Greytown Hospital and the Buchanan Home there were 57 patients in hospital at the end of October and •>- at the end of November, the figures for the corresponding mouths last year being 71. for both months. In the Buchanan Home there were 29 patients at the end of October and 28 at the end of November, there being 2S at the end of both these months last year. In hospital at the end of October at the Pahiatua Hospital were 41 patients, compared to 45 at the end of the same month last year, and 42 at the end of November, compared to 45 at the end of November last year. Daily averages at Groytown and Pahiatua were ns follow: —Greytown. 25 for October and 2J for November; Pahiatua, 16 for October and 1 IS November,
